Try this before you come in
Try a different USB-C cable and charger — cable failure is the most common cause.
Try all USB-C ports on your MacBook — if one charges and another doesn't, it's a port fault.
Reset SMC: Apple Silicon = shut down + wait 30s. Intel = Shift+Control+Option+Power for 10 seconds.
Check the charging port for lint — use a wooden toothpick to gently remove debris.
